INGREDIENTS
¼ lb Butter¼ cup Castor sugar½ cup ground Oats½ cup Coconut¼ cup chopped Almonds¼ cup chopped Pecan nuts ¾ tablespoon Golden syrup ½ teaspoon Bicarbonate of soda ½ tablespoon Boiling waterFlour as required.
METHOD
Cream the Butter and Castor sugar.Mix the Golden syrup, Bicarb and water together. Add in to the butter mixture along with the rest of the ingredients.Mix well.Add enough Flour to make a soft dough.Roll the dough out, scrape it with a fork and cut as desired, preferably with with a round cutter.Bake on 180 degrees till golden brown in colour. Remove and leave to cool. Once cooled, dip the underside of the biscuit in chocolate.
