INGREDIENTS
250g Butter1 & ½ cup White Sugar2 Egg yolk1 cup Oil½ cup taystee wheat½ cup Cornflour2 teaspoon Baking Powder½ teaspoon Bicarbonate of soda1 & ½ teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) Powder1 & ½ teaspoon NutmegFlour to make soft dough.
METHOD
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg yolks, oil and beat well. Add taystee wheat and cornflour beat. Sift spices with flour as required to form soft dough. Roll into small balls (20g each) place an almond on and bake at 180°c until light brown.
INFO & TIPS
1 hour before baking keep oil in freezer. This makes Naan Khatai crack better.
