Use Phyllo if you Prefer
NO MEASUREMENTS
Use any Sweet mixture to make the filling:Chopped Seedless Dates Dessicated Coconut Flaked or Chopped Almonds Chopped Pecans Sugar or Icing sugar Sesame seedsPoppy seeds Few drops Rose EssenceLittle Elachi (cardomom) powderMix well all the dry ingredients Using pastry sheets Smear each sheet with ghee (Clarified butter) Place dry mixture and fold up like you would for Spring Rolls you can use Lai to seal Squeeze it on both sides to give it a crinkle lookBrush a casserole with ghee (Clarified butter) or melted butter Place each roll on and Brush again with ghee (Clarified butter) or melted butter Bake at 180* For +-20 -25 minutes till Nice Golden Colour Remove when done Cut if you prefer to slice the RollsPour Hot syrup over (SEE RECIPE BELOW) Drizzle with Golden Syrup over the Rolls Garnish with more Almonds or pista (pistachio nuts) etc
Make SyrupWith 1 Cup water ½ Cup SugarFew lemon drops 1Tblsp Golden SyrupFew drops of Rose Essence 1 Cinnamon StickBoil to a nice syrup slightly thickish Syrup
