INGREDIENTS
¾ cups castor sugar 2 eggs 112g salted butter, yes salted 40g cocoa 40g flourOne and half slab milk chocolate (melted) Half a slab chopped milk chocolate/ whole nut NB: in total 2 slabs of chocolate is used
METHOD
Preheat your oven
Beat the castor sugar and the eggs for 6-7 minutes . It's essential that you beat it a lot, until it resembles a cake batter so it can rise nicely (we won't be adding baking powder to achieve fudgey Brownies )
Melt the butter and the chocolate together or separately, and add it to the above mixture
Sift in the cocoa and flour
Chop the remaining half slab of milk chocolate and fold it in.
Optional : you can add oreos, nuts, marshmallows, nutella, biscoff etc
Place mixture in a greased pan and bake at 180C for 30 minutes
Decorate as desired.
INFO & TIPS
If you want those famous brownie cracks, take out the pan from the oven after 15 minutes of baking and lightly slam the
pan your counter twice or thrice and put it back for another 15 minutes.
Use real butter (not margarine)
This recipe is for fudgey Brownies, not the cakey type
Double the recipe if you want it similar to the picture
