RECIPE
🔹I used 500 g Chicken Strips
🔹heat a Nonstick Skillet & addButter & some oil🔹A little onion, braise for minutes & then add the following & cook on medium heat ▫️🔹Add the drained chicken strips▫️🔹2 tablespoon chopped garlic ▫️🔹½ teaspoon Paprika ▫️🔹½ teaspoon Chili powder ▫️🔹½ teaspoon Cajun spice▫️🔹1 teaspoon lemon pepper ▫️🔹1 teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice) ▫️🔹Freshly ground black pepper ▫️🔹2 Squirts lemon juice ▫️🔹1 tablespoon Perinaise ▫️🔹¼ cup fresh cream
🔹keep stirring the chicken & cook for abt 10 minutes till you see it’s still creamy, remove from the stove and add▫️4 tablespoon Nandos Medium Peri peri sauce or hot if you prefer
❤️Notes for myself I added some of my own recipeLemon garlic butter sauceMy own Recipe Peri peri sauce, Both to the chicken and in the rice too😊
❤️Spicy riceBoil 2 cups Aunt Caroline rice with salt, 2 Chicken stock cubes,1 tablespoons chopped garlic & turmeric, & a drizzle of Oil▫️Drain & set aside
❤️Prepare veggies for the RiceIn a large Nonstick pot, add the following ▫️ghee (Clarified butter) & some oil▫️1 small chopped red onion▫️2 tablespoon Crushed Garlic ▫️1 teaspoon ginger/ garlic ▫️1 tablespoon Sujees Green masala 🔹Braise all this together on medium heat, don’t allow the garlic to burn
🔹Now add the foll veggies to the onions ▫️1 cup frozen mix veggies ▫️½ cup sweetcorn/ peas▫️½ cup chopped robot peppers
🔹Add these spices to the veggies & braise▫️1 tablespoon Aromat (a South African Spice)▫️1 tablespoon Spice for Rice▫️1 teaspoon Paprika ▫️1 teaspoon Cajun spice▫️1 teaspoon lemon pepper ▫️3 Squirts lemon juice▫️3 tablespoon Perinaise OR mayo▫️½ teaspoon salt▫️Freshly ground black pepper
🔹Cook all this together on medium heat with ½ cup water, for about 10 minutes, before veggies dry out, add▫️3 tablespoon Nandos White Mild garlic sauce ▫️3 tablespoon Nandos Medium Peri peri sauce, switch the stove off
🔹Mix everything tog, taste for salt & chilly as per your family
🔹Now add your drained rice & Give it all a good stir, ensuring the veggies & rice are well mixed together 🔹I added chopped dhania (coriander)🔹add a little water and steam for 5 minutes, set aside to rest
