RECIPE
Crush few strands Saffron Add an ice cube leave to melt. Set aside
1½ chickens washed & drained Mixture 4 marinade:
Heat ¼ cup oil + 1 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) Add in:1 tablespoon @purespice_sa red ♥️ ginger 🫚 garlic 1 tablespoon chilli powder 2 teaspoon crushed chillies 2 teaspoon @purespice_sa dhana jeeroo 1 teaspoon arad (Turmeric)1½ teaspoon salt2 tablespoon lemon 🍋 juice Taj Elachi (cardomom) peppercornsAllow to fryAdd in1 cup fried onions 1½ cups sour milk ½ cup boiling water Saffron water
Braise over low heatCool b4 marinating chicken few hours or overnight.
Cook till done. Garnish with greens Optional:Few baby onions while chicken is cooking
I served with creamy veggies 😋 & rotis
