Filling idea from @the_daily_dilemna Toasted Steak Wraps rcp (slightly adapted)
INGREDIENTS
• 500g steak strips or chicken fillet strips• 1 teaspoon salt• 1 teaspoon black pepper• 1 teaspoon lemon pepper• 1 teaspoon crushed garlic• 1 teaspoon green masala or crushed green chillies • 1 teaspoon barbecue spice• 1 teaspoon steak and chops spice or chicken spice• 1 teaspoon onion powder• 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce or Garlic Sauce
Mix above together and cook with a little olive oil until soft
Add in the ffg sliced veggies • 1 onion• 1 of each of Robot Peppers ( Red, Yellow, Green)Cover and cook for a few minutes
Lastly add in :• 2 tablespoon Mayonnaise • 1 tablespoon Tomato Sauce or Paste• 1 tablespoon Steers Barbecue or Prego Sauce • 1 tablespoon Steers Hot Peri-Peri Sauce
Cook for a further 5 minutes
In a small bowl make a Peri mayo sauce with Mayonnaise, Steers Prego and lemon juice
METHOD
Use store bought cocktail rolls for subsSlit open midway and brush the insides with the Peri MayoOnce filling has cooled down abit fill each roll generouslyBrush the tops of the rolls with melted garlic butterTop with a trio of grated cheese ( mozzarella, tussers & gouda )Sprinkle Robertsons Paprika & Parsley over each Just before serving grill uncovered for +-5 minutes until the cheese melts and the top of the subs look toasty
