1 cup ghee (Clarified butter)1 cup castor sugar 1 teaspoon cardamom powder 3 teaspoon Semolina½ cup gram flour 2 cups cake flour½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda whole almonds
Method. Cream ghee (Clarified butter) and castor sugar until light and fluffy. Add bicarbonate of soda , semolina, gram flour and cardamom powder. Miix well. Gradually incorporate flour into mixture to make a soft dough.Divide dough into 3. Colour 2 parts with electric pink colouring and chocolate brown gel colouring. One part leave plain. Make small balls .Take one ball of each colour and roll together. Place an almond in the centre. Bake at 180 preheated oven for +_ 20 to 25 minutes or until pale cream in colour.
I baked at 160° in thermofan oven.
