INGREDIENTS
Dedicated coconut 1.5 cupsHalf a cup soji (semolina) ( fine )½ a cup ghee (Clarified butter) / or butter Elachi (cardomom) ½ teaspoon ( fine powder )1 cup milk / fresh cream Sugar 1.5- 2 cupsAlmonds for deco
METHOD
Braise soji (semolina) for 5 minutes on low flame and remove from pot Keep pot on low flame In the same pot add ghee (Clarified butter) Add coconut and cook for a while There after add milk and elaichiCook for 2 minutes and add sugar according to taste Keep stirring and add soji (semolina)
Cook well for a few more minutes approximate 5-7 minutes..Once cooked will look very similar to normal soji (semolina) halwa Put in bowl Decorate with almonds or pistachio Serve
INFO & TIPS
Can add fresh cream for deco just a good splash 😜
And always cook on low
