Sweet, spiced, and beautifully rustic! This Pear & Almond Tart is made with a tender yogurt dough, filled with cinnamon-kissed pears and crunchy almonds, then topped with a cream cheese glaze for that perfect finish. A cozy bake that’s as lovely to look at as it is to eat!
Pear & Almond Tart

Dough2 cups flour1 teaspoon baking powder4 tablespoon icing sugarMix together100g butterGrate in and rub with fingers until mixture resembles breadcrumbs Add1 teaspoon vanilla essence 5 tablespoon oil4 tablespoon yoghurtForm a dough and set aside.
FillingIn a pot add2 pears cubed¼ cup sugar½ cup water1 teaspoon cinnamon powder ½ cup chopped almondsCook until water evaporates
Roll out doughCut out with a pot lid(I used a 27cm pot lid)Leftover dough place in freezer. Make 16 slits around the edgesPlace filling in the middlePinch each piece and fold upwards as shown in video.Place almonds around each slit piece.Grate the leftover dough over the top
Bake 180deg thermofan oven for about 20 minutes.Dust with icing sugar when cool.
Drizzle cream cheese glaze when serving.
