INGREDIENTS
2 pkts Spinach2 box Cannalonni tubesΒ½ teaspoon Black pepperΒ½ teaspoon SaltΒ½ teaspoon crushed GarlicΒ½ teaspoon Nutmeg2 medium OnionsButter
White sauce: 120 gr Butter3 cups Milk2&Β½ tablespoon FlourSalt and Pepper to taste
Sauce:2 tins chopped TomatoesOilMixed herbsSalt and PepperCrushed GarlicSugar
METHOD
Cut and wash the spinach.Cook it together with the Butter and onion.When nearly done add in the spices and braise. Once done, add 1 cup Fresh cream and leave to cook for a few more minutes. Make the white sauce by adding all the ingredients and stirring till it boils and thickens. Mix all the tomato sauce ingredients and leave to boil. Stuff the Cannalonni tubes with the spinach filling. Pour a little white sauce in the bottom of a casserole and layer the Cannalonni. Pour the white sauce first and then the tomato sauce over. Sprinkle cheese and a little mixed herbs. Bake on 180 degrees till done.
