RECIPE
Soak 2 cups oil dhaal overnight and pressure Cook for ½ hour or boil till soft.Grind till smooth or liquidise or use a stick blender Add to pot with 2 ½ cups sugar1 teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder 3 tablespoon butter or hard ghee (Clarified butter)Cook till all moisture has evaporated and the dhaal is thick stirring 2 prevent scorching Allow to coolEmpty into Tupperware brush ghee (Clarified butter) and leave in fridge overnight Shape into 18 small balls.Dough:3 cups flour2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)Boiling water ro make a soft dough.Divide dough into 18 balls.Roll out little put a ball of dough and close the roti sealing well.Roll out not too thinFry on medium hot tawa brushing melted butter on both sides and fry till golden brown Serve.Freezer suitable
