Chicken Karahi

Ingredients:
3 onions, chopped
Oil, for frying
1 black cardamom
2 green cardamom pods
2 cinnamon sticks
4 cloves
5 peppercorns
2 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
2 kg chicken pieces
Salt, to taste
2 teaspoon red chilli powder
½ teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon Shan curry powder
5 tomatoes, chopped
1 tablespoon Shan karahi spice
Green chillies, coriander & ginger (for garnish)
Method:1️⃣ Heat oil and fry chopped onions until translucent.2️⃣ Add whole spices — black and green cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and peppercorns.3️⃣ Stir in ginger-garlic paste, then add the chicken and sauté for a few minutes.4️⃣ Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, Shan curry powder, and chopped tomatoes.5️⃣ Pour in a little water, cover, and cook until the chicken is tender and the masala thickens.6️⃣ Finish with Shan karahi spice and garnish with green chillies, fresh coriander, and julienned ginger.
Serve hot with rotis or naan.
