Croissant Puri Bites… crispy, flaky and so cute! 🥐
Four rotis, one magic paste, a few folds — and suddenly you have the cutest little croissant-style bites.
Golden, sweet and perfect with a dip of melted chocolate.

🥐 Croissant Puri Bites

Dough
2 cups flour
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon oil
Water (to make a soft dough)
Mix flour, salt, and oil. Add water gradually and knead into a soft, smooth dough. Cover and rest for 10–15 minutes.

Flaky Paste (to brush between layers)
⅓ cup oil
⅓ cup flour
⅓ cup cornflour
2 tablespoon softened butter
Mix everything together to form a smooth paste.

Method
1. Divide dough into 4 equal balls.
2. Roll each ball into a thin round roti.
3. Spread the flaky paste generously over one roti, place the second roti on top, brush again, and continue until all 4 rotis are stacked, brushing paste between each layer.
4. Brush the top roti, sprinkle a little flour, then fold the top and bottom edges toward the center.
5. Brush more paste and fold again to form a rectangular packet.
6. Roll this folded packet out into a large rectangular sheet.
7. Cut the sheet in half, then slice each half into long triangular strips (like croissant shapes).
8. Brush a little paste on each strip and roll from the wide end to the tip to form mini croissants.
Pinch the tip firmly to seal so they don’t open while frying.
9. Heat oil on medium. Fry the croissant puri bites until golden, puffed, and crispy.
10. Drain on paper towels.
11. Dust with icing sugar and serve with melted chocolate.
