Sift ¼ cup maizena (corn flour) set aside
Sift 3 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon yeast
Divide 250g butter into 5 slices
Heat 2gether:⅓ cup sugar½ cup milk1 slice butterBoil. Add in ½ cup cold waterAdd in 1 eggMake a soft dough. Knead very well. Allow to rise 1 hour.Divide into 5 rotis. Roll out. Sprinkle maizena (corn flour) and grate 1 piece butter on each layer.Roll big roti.Fold as u would 4 pastry.Chill overnight.
Roll out next day. Shape into croissants Allow to rise.
Bake till golden brown ✨️ Drizzle melted chocolate or Drizzle icing sugar glaze.
