INGREDIENTS
2 cups rice1 chicken cut in 8/ 750g mutton
METHOD
Sauter 1 onion chopped with oil, jeera seeds, 3 whole elaichie and 2 pieces cinnamon stick until golden brown. Add rinsed meat/chicken and 2 tablespoons ginger garlic. Add some water and cook until done.
After, add 3 tablespoons chilli powder, 1 tablespoon dhania (coriander) powder, 1 tablespoon jeera powder and 2 teaspoons turmeric and mix together. Add 3 blended tomatoes (3 tomatoes blended with 3 chillies)
Add half cup yoghurt and mix.
Let it sauté for 3 minutes
Add 2 cups water and 2 cups washed rice and 3 peeled potatoes cut in half and steam in the oven for 1.5 hours or until rice and potatoes are cooked and then add a few blobs of butter or Rama) Add chopped dhania (coriander)Serve with dhai and sambals
