🌿 Cardamom (Elachi (cardomom)) Syrup@faads_naIngredients:3 cups sugar1¾ cups water1 teaspoon cardamom powder5–6 whole cardamom pods, lightly bruised1 tablespoon lemon juice2 drops cardamom essence¼ teaspoon cream of tartarGreen gel colouring (optional)Method:Add sugar, water, cardamom powder and bruised cardamom pods to a saucepan.Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer.Add lemon juice, cardamom essence and cream of tartar.Simmer until slightly thickened and fragrant.Add green colouring if using.Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.Strain well (to remove the pods), bottle and refrigerate.
🌹 Easy Rose Syrup@faads_naIngredients:3 cups sugar1½ cups water1 teaspoon lemon juice¼ teaspoon cream of tartarRed colouring1 teaspoon rose essence or rose water (to taste)Method:Add sugar and water to a saucepan.Bring to a boil and simmer until slightly thickened.Add lemon juice and cream of tartar.Stir in rose essence (or rose water) and red colouring.Simmer briefly, then remove from heat.Cool completely, strain, bottle and refrigerate.
☕ Coffee Syrup@faads_naIngredients:1½ cups sugar1 cup water3 tablespoon Jacobs coffeeMethod:Add sugar, water and coffee to a saucepan.Bring to a boil.Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.Allow to cool.Bottle and refrigerate.
