PORTUGUESE CUSTARD TARTS
3 tablespoon butter
2 teaspoon sugar
Rub butter into dry ingredients till it resembles bread crumbs.
Add enough water to make a soft dough
Place dough in a plastic bag,and refrigerate for ½ hour before rolling..roll out pastry and cut into circles to fit mini muffin pans..bake at 180 until light pink and done..
300ml ready made custard
1 egg yolk
1 small tin peach slices
Add egg yolk to custard and mix well..pour custard into baked cases and sprinkle little cinnamon over each tart...bake at 180 for 10-15 minutes..decorate each tart with a fresh cream rosette and a piece of canned peach..
