For the cake: 225g butter 1 1⁄4 cup castor sugar 2 1⁄4 cup self raising flour 2 teaspoon baking powder 4 large eggs 1⁄4 cup warm milk 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
For the topping: 1 litre milk 4 tablespoon maziena 1⁄2 tin condense milk Cinnamon powder
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time. Sift dry ingredients in. Add milk and vanilla. Beat - makes a thick batter. Bake in large, deep oven tray at 180 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Whisk maziena into milk and butter.. bring to a boil until thick. Pour hot topping over warm cake. Sprinkle cinnamon over. Allow to cool.
