Makes a 300 g Jar of Almond Butter
300 g Almonds, skin left on
A good drizzle of Maple/Golden Syrup
Roast the almonds at 190*C for 10 minutes before allowing them to cool.
Put into a large food processor and whizz for a good 10 minutes until
the natural oils begin to come out of the almonds.
Add a good drizzle of maple or golden syrup to your Almond Butter
and there you have it!
Almond Butter is a great substitute for peanut butter and tastes just
as good. It’s great spread on brown toast or, if you’re like me, straight
from the jar.
