INGREDIENTS
½ cup Sunflower Oil
1 Large Onion finely chopped
2 Green Peppers finely chopped
2 teaspoon Robertsons Barbecue Spice
1 teaspoon Robertsons Peri-Peri
1 tablespoon Hot Curry Powder
6 Tomatoes Large grated
4 Carrots Large peeled and grated
1 tin Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce
5 ml Aromat (a South African Spice)
METHOD
1. Warm the oil in a pot for 1 minute
2. Add onions and green pepper and fry until soft with Barbecue Spice, Peri-Peri and curry powder
3. Add the grated carrots, tomatoes and baked beans and mix well
4. Allow the mixture to cook for 15 minutes on medium heat
5. Stir the mixture every 5 minutes to ensure that it does not stick, and becomes smooth
6. Add the Aromat (a South African Spice) and cook for another 5 minutes
7. Serve with wors and Also put in a teaspoon of sugar when the last 5 minutes to cut sourness of tomatos.
