2 cups flour
2 tablespoon sugar
3 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
3 tablespoon melted Butter
¾ cup maas
1. --rub butter into the dry ingredients to create bread crumbs
2. add milk and egg mixture to flour mixture and make dough.
Roll out into a rectangle and spread a layer of butter/ghee (Clarified butter) on top
1cup Brown sugar
3 or 4 teaspoon cinnamon powder (this can be adjusted according to your taste)
--mix together and sprinkle generously over the greased dough
At this point you may add chipped pecans/almonds over the sugar and cinnamon
Roll tightly into a Swiss roll like concept and slice according to your desired thickness (approx 1 and a half finger space usually works for me)
Place on oven tray and bake at 180 for approximately 10 - 15 minutes (I usually cover my tray in foil)
The rolls are ready when they feel slightly firmer than when you put it in and does not indent when you touch them.
Remove tray from oven and remove rolls from tray immediately to avoid the rolls from getting stuck.
