Ingredients 1kg steak, 1 teaspoon ginger, 2 teaspoon garlic, 1 teaspoon black pepper pwdr, 4tblsp oil, 6 bay leaves, salt to tste, 2onions, 2 tomatoes.
Method Slice the steak. Add the all spices and oil to d stek and lay it out in a flat pot. Slice the onions and tomatoes in2 rings and arrange dem ovr the stek. Add 1 cup of water. Cover the pot and let it cook on meduim heat until dne. FOR THE SAUCE: 2tblsp oil, 4tblsp mayonnaise, 2tblsp tomato paste, 1tblsp coarse red chillies, 1 teaspoon mustard sauce and 2 teaspoon peri peri sauce. Heat oil and braise these ingredients for 2 minutes. lay out the stek in a flat oven dish and pour the sauce ovr d stek. Heat under d grill jus b4 srving

When I marinated steak I added 2tsp of portuguese chicken spice to it and little more mustard sauce.
I also only cooked the steak for 30 mins on stove den I transferd it to pyrex dotted it with butter covered it with foil & cooked until it was done.
