500ml self raising flour
Pinch of salt
60ml butter or margarine
+- 125ml milk
• Sift flour and salt, add butter and rub into flour to resemble crumbs.
• Make a well in the middle of the flour, add milk a little at a time to make a soft but not sticky dough.
• Turn out onto a flours surface and knead, then roll out to desired size and add your topping.
