INGREDIENTS
4 cups self-raising flour2 cups maas (buttermilk)Salt to taste1 egg (whisked in a bowl)Sesame seeds
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.Combine the self-raising flour, salt and the maas in a bowl until the dough starts to form.Place the dough out onto a large, lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece out in the palm of your hand to form a ball and place on a lightly floured baking pan. Brush the tops of the buns and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for approximately 15 minutes until the buns have risen and the tops are golden brown. Remove, allow to cool and enjoy.
