INGREDIENTS
All bran rusks....
250 butter2 ¼ cups dark brown sugar ¼ teaspoon salt 2 eggs 500 ml fresh cream ¼ cup sunflower seed ¼ cup sesame seeds 3 tablespoon poppy seeds1 ¼ cup desicated coconut 300 g all bran flakes ¼ cup Chopped Almonds 2 tablespoon of sowmf (fennel seeds) 2 tablespoon Jeeru (Cumin) (cumin seeds) 3 teaspoon baking powder Flour +/- 4 cups
METHOD
Roast all the seeds nuts and coconut. Crush the All bran flakes. Beat the butter and brown sugar until light in colour, add in eggs and beat. add in fresh cream and salt. Beat well.
Mix in the baking powder and the seeds , now add flour in little at a time to form a soft dough, the dough must be a little sticky. Roll out on floured surface, brush egg and sprinkle sesame seeds. Cut into thin rectangle shapes and spread them on a baking sheet.. *they do spread.. bake on180 until golden. Then Crispen on 70 for one hour. Switch the oven off and allow to cool.Enjoy
