INGREDIENTS
serving with mash and plating Inspiration from Fehmz at spoonful blog ...
½ kg steak mince
1 onion finely chopped
Oil
Cinnamon stick
Elachi (cardomom)
Peppercorn
Cardamom
1 teaspoon garlic
½ teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon red chilli paste
2 teaspoon dhana powder
1 teaspoon jeera powder
¼ teaspoon haldi
Chilli powder as required
Salt to taste
2 tablespoon tomatoe paste
1 grated tomato
Peas
Mash about 3 large potatoes
Add salt and pepper
METHOD
in a pot add the oil onions and the whole spices slightly brown the onion on medium heat , add ginger garlic and red chilli paste braise for 30 seconds . Add the mince as well as the remaking spices and mix well cook for 5 minutes on medium heat , add the tomatoe paste, peas and grated tomatoes and cook on low until done .
To plate :
Add the mash and using a spoon make a thick circle using the mash . Add the cooked minces in the middle .
Serve with roti
Squeeze a good amount of lemon juice
