RECIPE
1 roll ready made pastry cut into equal blocks
2 cups coconut
2 cups water
½ cup sugar
a slice of butter
Boil together till water evaporates then add
± 1 cup chopped dates (how
½ cup chopped nuts
Mix well
Allow to cool
Place in the middle of pastry and fold over like a triangle...freeze...then bake in a preheated oven on 200 till risen then lower heat and allow the tops to brown..
Whilst hot brush with jam and sprinkle with sliced pecans..
