A sister from whatsap food group posted this and I got inspired to give it a try. as everyones taste buds are different especially in ramadan and my family is small I tried half this recipe. and it came out mashallah lovely. I needed to make it a bit more brown so it would be crispy. I was running out of time it was iftar time. give it a try remember me in your pious duas
2 cups flour½ pct yeast ¼ cup oil½ teaspoon salt1 tablespoon sugar Make dough with lukewarm water, let it rise for an hour. Topping: Chopped dates, nuts and seeds of choice. ½ cup melted butter
Roll dough like for pizza, brush melted butter, top with dates,nuts and seeds, sprinkle zaatar, bake in a preheated oven on 200 degrees. When ready pour honey and serve with yoghurt.
