INGREDIENTS
6 slices bread- cut into 4
2 cups grated cheese
4 sliced sausages (precooked)
Fried polony if desired
1 Thinly Sliced tomato
green chillie slices
½ Cubed green pepper
2 cups milk
6 eggs
1 teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice)
1 teaspoon mustard powder
Salt,pepper & paprika to taste
METHOD
layer bread in greased ovenproof dish or pyrex.
Sprinkle 1 cup cheese over.
Top with sliced sausages and/or polony then veggies. Top with another cup of cheese.
Mix together milk, eggs and spices.
Beat well then pour over bread and cheese.
Sprinkle mixed herbs over. Allow to stand for 15 minutes before placing in oven.
Bake uncovered @ 180°c in a preheated oven for 25/30 minutes.
Don’t over bake or it will be dry.
