1⁄2 kg chicken fillet cut into cubes 1 teaspoon garlic 1 teaspoon ground green chillies 1⁄2 teaspoon crushed black pepper 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon powder 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon cumin powder Chilli powder ( I used 1 teaspoon tandoori spice although I know it's not middle eastern lol ) 3 tablespoon lemon juice 2 tablespoon plain yogurt
Olive oil Handful dhania (coriander) or mint
1 red onion chopped into quarters and then poll each layer open .
marinade chicken overnight or atleast 1 hour . Place on stick . Alternate the peeled onions on skewers with chicken . Heat a griller add some olive oil , place skewers on griller and cook chicken on medium heat until done . Squeeze lemon over before serving .
I Served with Zaatar and olive oil toasted pita , tzakziki , olives , rice and fattoush salad .
