INGREDIENTS
1 kg ribs
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 teaspoon bbq spice
2 tap steak & chops spice
1 tablespoon peri peri spice
chillies to taste
Salt to taste (remember sauces & spices contain salt too)
Sauce:
1 tablespoon ina paarmens sticky marinade
1 tablespoon bbq sauce
1 tablespoon peri peri sauce and or 1 tablespoon tabasco
1 tablespoon soya sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (can add slightly more if you prefer)
4 cloves of garlic
Fresh green coriander about a handful
METHOD
Place spices in a packet and add washed and dried ribs to it. Shake till well coated.
Marinate for a few hours or overnight.
Blitz sauce ingredients.
Can braai (bbq) ribs and keep basting with sauce or
Place ribs in a greased ovenproof dish and pour sauce over. Place in oven covered with foil at 180°c for an hour.
Remove foil and brown under grill before serving.
