INGREDIENTS
250g butter
1 cup icing sugar
Beat till creamy
Then add
3 tablespoon maizena (corn flour)
½ cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
¼ teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of bicarb
3 or more cups flour to make a soft dough.
METHOD
Divide dough into half..colour ½ with green colour or cocoa or pink color..leave the other half white
Equally divide dough into balls
Roll into long strips between sheets of wax paper
Place a green strip down and a white strip next to it.then place a green strip ontop of the white and a white strip ontop of the green..close over wax wrap and rub all sides with a flat knife to make a neat square
Cut into slices and place on a baking tray
Bake at 180 till done..
When cool dip in castor sugar
