½ cup Oil
¾ cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
½ teaspoon Bicarb
2 tablespoon's Semolina
1 teaspoon fresh ground Elachi (cardomom)
± 2 ½ cups Cake Flour
Sliced or Crushed, plain or coloured almonds, for Decoration.
Pre Heat oven @180•c & bring down to 170•c before baking.
Cream Butter, Oil & Sugar well,
Mix in Dry ingredients,
Add in the flour & make α soft dough,
Roll into balls, flatten slightly & place ση tray, space them out for they spread.
Decorate with almonds & bake @ 170•c for ± 20 minutues, till it cracks slightly & colour appears.
