RECIPE
Filling:
500g tenderized steak cut into strips
2 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon chilli garlic paste
1 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon red chillis
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon crushed cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon barbeque spice
2 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoon oil
1 onion, chopped
1 med green pepper sliced
1 med red pepper, sliced
2 tablespoon peri peri sauce
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 tablespoon ground tomato
METHOD
Combine all the ingredient except the
oil and marinate the steak
for 2-3 hours.
Heat the oil and stir fry the steak for
a few minutes.
Add water and cook until the steak
is tender
Heat oil and stir fry the onions and
green and red pepper and add
to the steak
Finally add the sauces and simmer until
slightly thick. Add more
salt or chillies if required.
Dough:
1 cup cake flour
¼ packet instant yeast
Pinch salt
1 tablespoon sugar
4 tablespoon oil
¼ cup milk
¼ cup water
Combine the dry ingredients and oil in a dish..heat milk and water till lukewarm..add enough to flour to make a soft dough...allow to rise..knock down and roll into a large circle..place filling in a circle near the edge of dough..overlap dough over filling..cut the middle flat part into 4..pull each triangle over ring...place in a greased round pan..glaze with egg and sprinkle with parsley/sesame seeds..allow to rise..bake at 180 till golden
