Adega chicken recipe
1 chicken cut into pieces
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon garlic
1 tablespoon chillie paste
½ teaspoon chillie powder
¼ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)
½ teaspoon crushed red chillies
Marinate chicken with above ingredients and cook on with ghee (Clarified butter) on high for 10 minutes. remove and place on a tray:
Sauce
In a pot add garlic butter about 2 tablespoons, 3 tablespoons nandos chakalaka, 2 tablespoons nandos medittareanean sauce, 3 tablespoon garlic peri peri sauce, 3 tablespoon mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon red chillie powder. boil till thick, pour over chicken and put foil over and grill in oven for about 10 minutes
INFO & TIPS
I made a few changes. I used chops instead of chicken & cooked for half & hour. I boiled few mielies. I layered chops in pyrex poured sauce over. Added a few green pepper nd onion rings & finished it of with cocktail tomatoes. Dotted with butter covered it with foil & baked it til done
Nb. I used nandos bushveld sauce , medium peri peri & some tomatoe sauce.
