INGREDIENTS
125g butter
½ cup castor sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon vanilla essence or lemon essence
1 cup dessicated coconut
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon custard powder
½ teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder
Flour as needed
METHOD
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg and essence. Add the rest of the ingredients and incorporate the flour to make a dough. Roll out on a floured surface and scratch with a fork. Cut into shapes, lay on a baking tray and sprinkle 100's and 1000's sweets. Bake in a preheated oven on 180 for 12-15 minutes.
