1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Beat until fluffy an lite yellow in colour.
1⁄2 cup oil
1⁄2 cup boiling water
Beat together a little
1 1⁄4 cup flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
A pinch of salt
Add the flour an water mixture alternatively to the egg mixture.
Beat until incorporated
Bake @ 180. For cupcakes bake for 10-15 minutues. For normal cakes bake @ 30 minutues+.
Replace the 1⁄4 cup flour with cocoa for a choc cake
For the icing I added Nutella to normal buttercream icing
