125g butter 2/3 cup castor sugar ½ teaspoon vanilla essence 1 egg ½ teaspoon baking powder ½ cup rice crispies ½ cup chopped dates ½ cup chopped nuts Pinch of salt Flour as needed
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in the egg and add the rest of the ingredients. Roll out and cut into shapes. Place on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven on 180 degrees for about 12-15 minutes. When cooled, drizzle with melted chocolate.
