125g butter/rama ¾ cup brown sugar 2 teaspoon v.essence 1 egg 1&¼ cups flour 1&½ teaspoon baking powder 1 tablespoon instant coffee ½ cup chopped nuts (walnuts/pecans)
Melt butter in a saucepan large enough to mix all the ingr. Remove from heat & mix in brown sugar, vanilla & egg. Beat with a wooden spoon until combined. Sift flour, baking powder & coffee into saucepan.Add nuts & mix till combined. Pour mixture into a greased 18×28cm pan. Bake at 190 deg. for 20-25 minutues or until golden. Slice when cool. Dust with icing sugar or ice with coffee icing.
