INGREDIENTS
1⁄2 cup sago1⁄2 cinnamon stick 1 tin condensed milk1⁄2 teaspoon Cardamom powder or rose water if preferred1 litre of full cream milksmall tin nestle cream ¼ cup coconut 3 tablespoon almond powder 1 teaspoon China grass powder
METHOD
1. Soak sago in water. Water should just cover sago.2. Heat milk with cardamom, cinnamon stick and dessicated coconut. 3. Add in sago and China grass powder and simmer on low stirring often till slightly thickened and sago is glassy.4. Remove from heat and add in condensed milk and dessert cream. Add colouring if preferred. Remove cinnamon stick. 5. Transfer to serving dishes.Allow to set then decorate with dessert cream, coconut/strawberries/slivered almonds etc.
china grass powder may be omitted.
