Step 1:Remove shells from 1/2kg prawns.Marinate in 2tblspn soy sauce,1⁄2 teaspoon roughly crushed black pepper,1⁄2 teaspoon red masala.Set aside.
Step 2:Julienne 2 carrots,1⁄2 each of red pepper,green pepper,yellow pepper and orange pepper.Cut up 1 1⁄2 cup mushrooms and about 1⁄4 head of broccoli.
Step 3:Boil water.When it's boiling add Chinese noodles,1 teaspoon salt and 1 tblspoon oil.Now switch off the water.It should sit in this water for no longer than 3 minutes.Now drain in a colander.Set aside.Step 4:Heat oil in a wok.Add 1⁄4 onion chopped up,2 garlic pieces chopped up,about a walnut sized ginger piece chopped up very fine and 1 teaspoon sesame seeds.Cook on medium until u see the sesame seeds popping.Now add the vegetables starting with the broccoli and carrots(takes longer than other veggies),sauté constantly for about 2 minutes.Now add the other veggies and close with a lid.Don't add water,it will steam beautifully in its own juices.Leave this to steam for about 5 minutes.Meanwhile,heat butter in a frying pan,add prawns and let braise on the one side then flip over and braise on the other side.It should have a nice grill mark on both sides.Now add the to the vegetables and add the noodles also.In a cup,mix: 1⁄2 cup soy sauce,2 tblspoon honey and 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce.Pour this over.Now mix it all together using thongs.Garnish with chopped up chives/green onions.Serve hot.Jazakallah💜
