Tip for Burfi is always to keep some syrup aside when you mixing always add syrup as you require 500 g Klim or Nespray1 tablespoon melted butter¼: tin Nestle dessert cream1 teaspoon crushed Elachi (cardomom)½ teaspoon rose essence1 ¾ cup normal sugar1 ¾ cup water
Rub butter and nestle cream to klim or nespray mixture.. leave to dry a bit then put in coffee grinder or sift it . Keep aside Make slight sticky syrup with the water & sugar add ½;teaspoon rose essence Add syrup to klim...cook 2 minutes on stove ...add crushed Elachi (cardomom) to the mixture.. Leave to stand for a few hours..then mould into shape.or put in flat tray . & cut dhapes ...for decor Add cut up coloured or brown skin almonds ..on top with a pinch of saffron & little crushed Elachi (cardomom) again .enjoy
