INGREDIENTS
6 bunch Methi (Fenugreek). Washed and chopped
1 can cream style corn
2 teaspoon ground green chilies for mild use 1
¼ cup Chana flour
1/4cup Mealie meal
1/4cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dhania (coriander) powder
1 teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) powder
1onion finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
3 eggs
½ cup milk
½ cup oil
3 teaspoon baking powder
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180 deg.
Spray and cook largest Pyrex.
Mix wet ingredients and eggs, add eggs and Methi (Fenugreek) and whisk. Whisk in dry ingredients.
Bake immediately
For spinach Lagan, leave out Mehti and add 1 cup very finely chopped spinach.
For chicken Lagan.:
Leave out Methi (Fenugreek). Add 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken, ½ cup blanched corn, ½ cup cheese optional, ¼ cup mixed peppers
INFO & TIPS
You can use 1/2 instead of 1/4 cup of the flour, Millie meals and gram/Chana flour for a firmer Lagan.
This recipe is a moist Lagan.
