Fatima Pasha Spur uses the rice flour batter...Mix with soda water, dip onion, shake excess then dip in seasoned flour, shake and deep fry in hot oil!
Fatima Essack I cut them nice and thin then leave on a roller towel till all water is out then dip in flour (which has little salt and pepper)then make batter using flour, baking powder, little red chillies. if u like make batter with water
