INGREDIENTS
250g butter/ or stork to bake marg (room temp.) ½ cup maizena (corn flour) ½ cup castor sugar ½ cup finely chopped pecans ½ cup finely chopped almonds Aprox. 2 cups cake flour (as needed) More castor sugar for garnish.
METHOD
1. Beat butter and sugar until white and fluffy.2. Then add maizena (corn flour) and beat until creamy. 3. Add in nuts, mix in.4. Lastly add flour forming into a soft dough. 5. Pinching small pieces of dough, roll even strips and form into horse shoe shapes on a lined baking sheet. 6. In a preheated oven of 160°C bake for 10-15min. 7. Biscuits must be light in colour. 8. Remove from oven and gently dip in castor sugar whislt warm.Note: be gentle as the biscuits are meant to be soft melt in the mouth and not crispy.
