INGREDIENTS
Quick Chilli Beans

INGREDIENTS:
•1- 2 cans Koo baked/ butter beans
•1 onion finely chopped
•1 stick taj (cinnamon)
•pinch Jeeru (Cumin) seeds
•pinch mustard seeds
•Oil
•1 teaspoon chilli powder
•1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder
•¼ teaspoon tumeric
•1 level teaspoon salt
•2 grated tomatoes
•2 sliced green chillies
•few curry leaves
METHOD
Braise onion in oil with cinnamon, and Jeeru (Cumin) seeds. Add in tomatoes and spices and cook till bubbles. Add in beans and cook till sauce has thickened. Flash fry in very little oil mustard seeds, curry leaves and chillies and pour over. Serve with roti or bread.
For Variation:
Add in cooked chopped viennas/ sausages. Or baked potato pieces. Or make with dumplings.
May even mix 1 can baked beans and 1 can butter beans.
