
Kajoor Tarts/jam Tarts

Kajoor (Dates) tarts pictured on right
Boil 100g chopped dates with
Halfcup sugar
1 cup water
1 cup coconut
1 tablespoon butter
1 cinnamon stick
Quater teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder
Boil till soft and water evaporated
Allow to cool
Fill into pastry
When baked,spread with jam and sprinkle chopped nuts
