RECIPE
2 kg carrots grated or minced
4 litres milk
Boil together till milk is evaporated and carrots a lump
Allow to cool
In a seperate pot
Braise together
1 cup taystee wheat
1 cup ghee (Clarified butter)
2 cinnamon stix
6 Elachi (cardomom) pods
Once braised add in carrot mixture
Cook for approx 20 minutes
Then add
1 tin condensed milk
2 cups sugar
(taste for sweetness)
2 tins nestle cream
1 tin ideal milk/fresh cream
2 teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder
Few strands saffron
1 cup dessicated coconut
Half cup ground almonds
Mix well
Leave in hot oven to cook and steam for approx 2 hours
