Maziena halwa (Not sticky)
INGREDIENTS
Mix together:1 cup maziena
3 ½ cups cold water
1 teaspoon egg yellow colouring
2 teaspoon red colouring
Set asideIn pot mix:
1 ¾ cups sugar
2 cups water
1 teaspoon egg yellow colouring
2 teaspoon red colouring
METHOD
Boil above till thick. Then add in maziena mixture,cleaned slivered almonds, Elachi (cardomom) and saffron. Mix till thick and starts forming a lump. Switch off add 2 big spoons ghee (Clarified butter). Set in pyrex. Sprinkle badaams. Leave to set.
